Clos Maggiore
No better way to enjoy some of the recent British Sunshine than spending a day out lunching.
So, I enjoyed a beautiful lunch at Clos Maggiore. A modern French restaurant located near Covent Garden and Leicester Square. All main ingredients are sourced from within the UK which gives a British twist to a French menu.
Starter: Creme of Tomato Soup and Marinate Spanish Octopus ‘Provencal Style’ with Fennel, New Potatoes & Piperade.
Mains: Slow Cooked Fillet of Sea Bream with Squid Ink Linguine & Mussel Casserole and Oven Roasted Iberico Pork Loin with Wilted Spring Cabbage, Bacon & Aromatic Roasting Jus.
The flower covered ceiling created the perfect atmosphere for a romantic lunch or dinner date.
The cool thing about this place is that their menu changes almost daily so each experience is bound to be fun, exciting and new! (Below is a taster of my lunch menu from April 6th).
